महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-141, verse-16

अपसव्या मृगाः सर्वे धार्तराष्ट्रस्य केशव ।
वाचश्चाप्यशरीरिण्यस्तत्पराभवलक्षणम् ॥१६॥
16. apasavyā mṛgāḥ sarve dhārtarāṣṭrasya keśava ,
vācaścāpyaśarīriṇyastatparābhavalakṣaṇam.

16. O Keśava, all the animals move inauspiciously to the left for Dhṛtarāṣṭra's sons. Moreover, disembodied voices are heard; that is a sign of defeat.
