tena saṁmantrya vetsyāmo vadhopāyaṁ durātmanaḥ.

tena saṁmantrya vetsyāmo vadhopāyaṁ durātmanaḥ.

tasmāt viniścayam imam śṛṇudhvam me
divaukasaḥ viṣṇoḥ kṣayam upāgamya

vetsyāmaḥ vadhopāyam durātmanaḥ
divaukasaḥ viṣṇoḥ kṣayam upāgamya
sametya ca mahātmanā tena saṃmantrya

Therefore, O celestial beings, hear this firm resolution from me: we shall go to the abode of Viṣṇu, and having met that great soul (mahātman), we shall consult with him to ascertain the means for killing the wicked one.
