महाबलं महाकायं न मे श्रेयो भविष्यति ॥३५॥

35. yadi vṛtraṁ na hanmyadya vañcayitvā mahāsuram ,
mahābalaṁ mahākāyaṁ na me śreyo bhaviṣyati.

35.
If I do not slay Vṛtra today, after having outwitted that great demon (mahāsura), who possesses immense strength (mahābala) and a massive body (mahākāya), then there will be no well-being for me.
