विष्णुरुवाच ।
अवश्यं करणीयं मे भवतां हितमुत्तमम् ।
तस्मादुपायं वक्ष्यामि यथासौ न भविष्यति ॥१०॥

10. viṣṇuruvāca ,
avaśyaṁ karaṇīyaṁ me bhavatāṁ hitamuttamam ,
tasmādupāyaṁ vakṣyāmi yathāsau na bhaviṣyati.

viṣṇuḥ uvāca avaśyam karaṇīyam me bhavatām hitam

Vishnu said: "Certainly, I must accomplish the best welfare for you all. Therefore, I will tell you a method by which he (Vṛtra) will no longer exist."
