महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-10, verse-32

यत्तः सदाभवच्चापि शक्रोऽमर्षसमन्वितः ।
वृत्रस्य वधसंयुक्तानुपायाननुचिन्तयन् ।
रन्ध्रान्वेषी समुद्विग्नः सदाभूद्बलवृत्रहा ॥३२॥
32. yattaḥ sadābhavaccāpi śakro'marṣasamanvitaḥ ,
vṛtrasya vadhasaṁyuktānupāyānanucintayan ,
randhrānveṣī samudvignaḥ sadābhūdbalavṛtrahā.

32. Indra, also known as the slayer of Bala and Vṛtra, was always diligent and filled with indignation. He was constantly contemplating the means to kill Vṛtra, searching for his weaknesses, and thus remained perpetually agitated.
