महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-23, verse-34

द्विधा कृतं ततः सौभं सुदर्शनबलाद्धतम् ।
महेश्वरशरोद्धूतं पपात त्रिपुरं यथा ॥३४॥
34. dvidhā kṛtaṁ tataḥ saubhaṁ sudarśanabalāddhatam ,
maheśvaraśaroddhūtaṁ papāta tripuraṁ yathā.
34. dvidhā kṛtam tataḥ saubham sudarśanabalāt hatam
maheśvaraśaroddhūtam papāta tripuram yathā
34. Then, Saubha, struck by the power of Sudarśana and made into two parts, fell just as Tripura was torn apart by Maheśvara's (Śiva's) arrow.
