ततोऽहं भरतश्रेष्ठ प्रगृह्य रुचिरं धनुः ।
शरैरपातयं सौभाच्छिरांसि विबुधद्विषाम् ॥१॥

Vāsudeva said: "Then, O best of the Bharatas, I, taking up my beautiful bow, cut off the heads of the demons (vibudhadviṣām) from the Saubha (air-chariot) with my arrows."
