महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-23, verse-16

द्विषतां च प्रहर्षोऽभूदार्तिश्चाद्विषतामपि ।
एवं विजितवान्वीर पश्चादश्रौषमच्युत ॥१६॥
16. dviṣatāṁ ca praharṣo'bhūdārtiścādviṣatāmapi ,
evaṁ vijitavānvīra paścādaśrauṣamacyuta.
16. dviṣatām ca praharṣaḥ abhūt ārtiḥ ca adviṣatām
api evam vijitavān vīra paścāt aśrauṣam acyuta
16. And there was great joy for the enemies, while even non-enemies experienced distress. Thus, O hero, I later heard that Acyuta had conquered.
