महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-4, verse-44

गदं वीक्ष्य शयानं च भृशं कोपसमन्वितः ।
स निःशेषं तदा चक्रे शार्ङ्गचक्रगदाधरः ॥४४॥
44. gadaṁ vīkṣya śayānaṁ ca bhṛśaṁ kopasamanvitaḥ ,
sa niḥśeṣaṁ tadā cakre śārṅgacakragadādharaḥ.
44. gadam vīkṣya śayānam ca bhṛśam kopa-samanvitaḥ |
saḥ niḥśeṣam tadā cakre śārṅga-cakra-gadā-dharaḥ
44. gadam śayānam ca vīkṣya,
bhṛśam kopa-samanvitaḥ saḥ,

44. Seeing Gada also lying slain, and intensely filled with rage, Kṛṣṇa, the wielder of the Śārṅga bow, discus, and mace, then brought about a complete annihilation.
