महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-4, verse-27

इतीदमुक्त्वा खड्गेन केशवस्य समीपतः ।
अभिद्रुत्य शिरः क्रुद्धश्चिच्छेद कृतवर्मणः ॥२७॥
27. itīdamuktvā khaḍgena keśavasya samīpataḥ ,
abhidrutya śiraḥ kruddhaściccheda kṛtavarmaṇaḥ.

abhidrutya śiraḥ kruddhaḥ cicheda kṛtavarmaṇaḥ

27. Having said this, enraged, he rushed with a sword near Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) and severed the head of Kṛtavarman.
