महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-6, verse-29

देवानां शरणं पुण्यं सर्वं पुण्यैरवाप्यते ।
पुण्यशीलं नरं प्राप्य किं दैवं प्रकरिष्यति ॥२९॥
29. devānāṁ śaraṇaṁ puṇyaṁ sarvaṁ puṇyairavāpyate ,
puṇyaśīlaṁ naraṁ prāpya kiṁ daivaṁ prakariṣyati.

puṇyaśīlam naram prāpya kim daivam prakariṣyati
