पाणौ गृहीता तत्रैव विसृज्या इति मे पिता ।
अब्रवीदितरां कन्यामावहत्स तु कौरवः ॥३८॥

38. pāṇau gṛhītā tatraiva visṛjyā iti me pitā ,
abravīditarāṁ kanyāmāvahatsa tu kauravaḥ.

38. My father told me, 'The maiden who was taken by the hand (married) is to be released right there.' But that Kaurava (Vicitravīrya) married the other maiden.
