महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-126, verse-18

मृगैश्च विविधाकारैर्हाहाभूतमचेतनम् ।
शिखरं तस्य शैलस्य मथितं दीप्तदर्शनम् ॥१८॥
18. mṛgaiśca vividhākārairhāhābhūtamacetanam ,
śikharaṁ tasya śailasya mathitaṁ dīptadarśanam.

18. And, with various kinds of animals (experiencing distress), the peak of that mountain was crushed, appearing fiery, having become a place of lamentation, and rendered lifeless.
