महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-253, verse-8

तुलाधारो वणिग्धर्मा वाराणस्यां महायशाः ।
सोऽप्येवं नार्हते वक्तुं यथा त्वं द्विजसत्तम ॥८॥
8. tulādhāro vaṇigdharmā vārāṇasyāṁ mahāyaśāḥ ,
so'pyevaṁ nārhate vaktuṁ yathā tvaṁ dvijasattama.

api evam na arhate vaktum yathā tvam dvijasattama

8. Even Tulādhāra, the highly renowned merchant whose intrinsic nature (dharma) is that of a merchant, residing in Vārāṇasī, is not fit to speak in such a way as you are, O best among Brahmins.
