महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-253, verse-36

क्रमेण च पुनः सर्वे दिवसानि बहून्यपि ।
नोपावर्तन्त शकुना जातप्राणाः स्म ते यदा ॥३६॥
36. krameṇa ca punaḥ sarve divasāni bahūnyapi ,
nopāvartanta śakunā jātaprāṇāḥ sma te yadā.

36. And then, after some time, even though many days passed, all the birds, having acquired (new) life, did not return.
