महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-253, verse-32

जातपक्षांश्च सोऽपश्यदुड्डीनान्पुनरागतान् ।
सायं सायं द्विजान्विप्रो न चाकम्पत जाजलिः ॥३२॥
32. jātapakṣāṁśca so'paśyaduḍḍīnānpunarāgatān ,
sāyaṁ sāyaṁ dvijānvipro na cākampata jājaliḥ.
32. jātaprakṣān ca saḥ apaśyat uḍḍīnān punar āgatān
sāyam sāyam dvijān vipraḥ na ca akampata jājaliḥ
32. ca saḥ jātaprakṣān uḍḍīnān punar āgatān dvijān
sāyam sāyam apaśyat ca vipraḥ jājaliḥ na akampata
32. And he saw the birds, now winged, flying away and returning again every evening. Still, the Brahmin (vipra) Jājali did not waver.
