महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-15, verse-52

एवं पर्याकुले लोके विपथे जर्जरीकृते ।
तैस्तैर्न्यायैर्महाराज पुराणं धर्ममाचर ॥५२॥
52. evaṁ paryākule loke vipathe jarjarīkṛte ,
taistairnyāyairmahārāja purāṇaṁ dharmamācara.

52. O great king, in a world thus greatly agitated, having strayed from the right path, and deteriorated, you should practice the ancient natural law (dharma) by adopting various (appropriate) principles.
