महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-120, verse-52

पश्येदुपायान्विविधैः क्रियापथैर्न चानुपायेन मतिं निवेशयेत् ।
श्रियं विशिष्टां विपुलं यशो धनं न दोषदर्शी पुरुषः समश्नुते ॥५२॥
52. paśyedupāyānvividhaiḥ kriyāpathai;rna cānupāyena matiṁ niveśayet ,
śriyaṁ viśiṣṭāṁ vipulaṁ yaśo dhanaṁ; na doṣadarśī puruṣaḥ samaśnute.
52. paśyet upāyān vividhaiḥ kriyāpathaiḥ
na ca anupāyena matim niveśayet
śriyam viśiṣṭām vipulam yaśaḥ dhanam

52. A person should always consider various appropriate courses of action and should not apply their intelligence to improper means. A man who only perceives faults will not attain distinguished prosperity, abundant fame, or wealth.
