महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-120, verse-41

सर्वान्कामान्कामयानो हि धीरः सत्त्वेनाल्पेनाप्लुते हीनदेहः ।
यथात्मानं प्रार्थयतेऽर्थमानैः श्रेयःपात्रं पूरयते ह्यनल्पम् ॥४१॥
41. sarvānkāmānkāmayāno hi dhīraḥ; sattvenālpenāplute hīnadehaḥ ,
yathātmānaṁ prārthayate'rthamānaiḥ; śreyaḥpātraṁ pūrayate hyanalpam.
41. sarvān kāmān kāmayānaḥ hi dhīraḥ
sattvena alpena āplute hīnadehaḥ |
yathā ātmānam prārthayate arthamānaiḥ
śreyaḥpātram pūrayate hi analpam
41. hi dhīraḥ sarvān kāmān kāmayānaḥ

41. Indeed, a wise person (dhīraḥ), even if weak-bodied and possessing little inner strength (sattva), but desiring all aspirations, fills a boundless vessel of welfare with honorable gains, just as he strives for himself (ātman).
