धनं भोज्यं पुत्रदारं समृद्धिं सर्वो लुब्धः प्रार्थयते परेषाम् ।
लुब्धे दोषाः संभवन्तीह सर्वे तस्माद्राजा न प्रगृह्णीत लुब्धान् ॥४६॥

46.
Every greedy person desires wealth, food, wife and children, and prosperity belonging to others (pareṣām). All faults arise in a greedy person. Therefore, a king should not accept (pragṛhṇīta) greedy people (lubdhān).
