अग्निस्तोको वर्धते ह्याज्यसिक्तो बीजं चैकं बहुसाहस्रमेति ।
क्षयोदयौ विपुलौ संनिशाम्य तस्मादल्पं नावमन्येत विद्वान् ॥३६॥
36. agnistoko vardhate hyājyasikto; bījaṁ caikaṁ bahusāhasrameti ,
kṣayodayau vipulau saṁniśāmya; tasmādalpaṁ nāvamanyeta vidvān.
36. agni-stokaḥ vardhate hi ājya-siktaḥ
bījam ca ekam bahusāhasram
eti kṣayodayau vipulau saṃniśāmya
tasmāt alpam na avamanyeta vidvān
36. vidvān tasmāt alpam na avamanyeta

36. A small spark of fire, when sprinkled with ghee, certainly grows. And a single seed yields thousands. Therefore, a wise person, having carefully observed these vast cycles of decline and growth, should not despise anything, however small.
