पूर्वं सर्गाद्यथैवासीत्तथैवैकं समस्थितम् ।
भविष्यत्यधुनानन्तकालमेवं तथैव च ॥ २६ ॥

Formerly, before creation (sargāt), just as it was, so indeed it (reality) existed as one and uniformly abiding (samastikam). Now, it is so, and it will continue to be so for infinite time (anantakālam), exactly in the same manner.
