योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-99, verse-11

पादपाः किंचिदुन्निद्रा घननिद्राः खलूपलाः ।
कृमिकीटादयः कार्ये नरवत्स्वप्नबोधिनः ॥ ११ ॥
pādapāḥ kiṃcidunnidrā ghananidrāḥ khalūpalāḥ ,
kṛmikīṭādayaḥ kārye naravatsvapnabodhinaḥ 11

11. Trees are somewhat awake; stones, however, are indeed in deep slumber. Worms, insects, and other creatures, in their activities, are like humans who awaken from a dream (svapnabodhinaḥ).
