राजन्स्वात्मविचारोऽयं कोऽहं स्यामिति रूपधृक् ।
चित्तदुर्द्रुमबीजस्य दहने दहनः स्मृतः ॥ २९ ॥

Kumbha said: 'O King, this self-inquiry (svātma-vicāra), which takes the form "Who am I?", is declared to be the very fire for burning the seed of the wicked mind (citta) tree.'
