योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-77, verse-17

पितरि स्वर्गमापन्ने बाल एवोत्तमौजसा ।
कृत्वा षोडशवर्षाणि स्वयं दिग्विजयं वशी ॥ १७ ॥
pitari svargamāpanne bāla evottamaujasā ,
kṛtvā ṣoḍaśavarṣāṇi svayaṃ digvijayaṃ vaśī 17

17. pitari svargam āpanne,
bālaḥ eva uttama-ojasā svayam ṣoḍaśa-varṣāṇi dig-vijayam kṛtvā vaśī
17. When his father attained heaven (svarga), he, though just a boy, with his supreme might, personally undertook a world-conquest (digvijaya) that lasted sixteen years, thus becoming a master.
