योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-21, verse-44

वृक्षनीरन्ध्रभूपीठमकल्पितमहार्णवम् ।
स्वयसंजातपुरुषं कंचित्सर्गं स्मराम्यहम् ॥ ४४ ॥

svayasaṃjātapuruṣaṃ kaṃcitsargaṃ smarāmyaham 44

44. I remember a certain creation (sarga) where the earth's surface was densely covered with trees, where there was no (conceivable) great ocean, and where (puruṣas) beings generated spontaneously.
