वृक्षनीरन्ध्रभूपीठमकल्पितमहार्णवम् ।
स्वयसंजातपुरुषं कंचित्सर्गं स्मराम्यहम् ॥ ४४ ॥

44. I remember a certain creation (sarga) where the earth's surface was densely covered with trees, where there was no (conceivable) great ocean, and where (puruṣas) beings generated spontaneously.

44. אני נזכר בבריאה אחת שבה פני האדמה היו מכוסים כולם ביער עבוט ללא אוקיינוסים, והאדם הופיע בה מעצמו.
