भुशुण्ड उवाच ।
ब्रह्मन्नियतिरेषा हि दुर्लङ्घ्या पारमेश्वरी ।
मयेदृशेन वै भाव्यं भाव्यमन्यैस्तु तादृशैः ॥ २३ ॥

Bhusuṇḍa said: "O Brahmin (brahman), this destiny (niyati) is indeed insurmountable, for it originates from the Supreme Lord. I am destined to be of this specific nature, while others are destined to be of theirs."
