एवंरूपे द्रुमवरे तिष्ठतामापदः कुतः ।
अस्माकं मुनिशार्दूल दौःस्थित्येन किलापदः ॥ १३ ॥

13. How can calamities (āpadaḥ) befall those who reside in such an excellent tree? O tiger among sages, it is indeed due to our own unfortunate situation that calamities (āpadaḥ) befall us.
