योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-39, verse-26

अपरीक्ष्य च यः शिष्यं प्रशास्त्यतिविमूढधीः ।
स एव नरकं याति यावदाभूतसंप्लवम् ॥ २६ ॥
aparīkṣya ca yaḥ śiṣyaṃ praśāstyativimūḍhadhīḥ ,
sa eva narakaṃ yāti yāvadābhūtasaṃplavam 26
26. aparīkṣya ca yaḥ śiṣyam praśāsti ativimūḍhadhīḥ
| sa eva narakam yāti yāvat ābhūtasaṃplavam ||
26. yaḥ ativimūḍhadhīḥ ca śiṣyam aparīkṣya praśāsti,
sa eva yāvat ābhūtasaṃplavam narakam yāti.
26. And whoever, with an exceedingly deluded intellect, instructs a student without examining them, that very person goes to hell until the great dissolution of all beings.
