श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
स्पन्दास्पन्दस्वभावं हि चिन्मात्रमिह विद्यते ।
खे वात इव तत्स्पन्दात्सोल्लासं शान्तमन्यथा ॥ ६ ॥

spanda-aspanda-svabhāvam hi cit-mātram iha

6. śrī-vasiṣṭha uvāca iha spanda-aspanda-svabhāvam cit-mātram hi vidyate.
tat-spandāt khe vāta iva sa-ullāsam (bhavati).

6. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: "Indeed, here exists only pure consciousness (cit), characterized by both pulsation and non-pulsation. From its pulsation, it manifests vibrantly, much like the wind in the sky; otherwise, it remains tranquil."
