स्फुरणाज्जीवचक्रत्वमेति चित्तोर्मितां दधत् ।

19. Through its initial pulsation (sphuraṇa), consciousness (cit), adopting the form of mind-waves, attains the state of the cycle of individual souls (jīvacakratvam). In the Brahman-ocean (brahmajaladhi) of consciousness-water (citvāri), it creates the bubbles of creation (sarga).
