रेखावृन्दं यथा पर्णे वीचिजालं यथा जले ।
कटकादि यथा हेम्नि तथोष्णादि यथाऽनले ॥ ३२ ॥

rekhāvṛndaṃ yathā parṇe vīcijālaṃ yathā jale ,
kaṭakādi yathā hemni tathoṣṇādi yathā'nale 32

32. yathā rekhā-vṛndam parṇe,
yathā vīci-jālam jale,
yathā kaṭaka-ādi hemni,
tathā yathā uṣṇa-ādi anale

32. Just as a network of lines appears on a leaf, just as a web of waves appears in water, just as ornaments like bangles are made from gold, similarly heat and other qualities reside in fire.
