सत्तामात्रेण दीपस्य यथालोकः स्वभावतः ।
चित्तत्त्वस्य स्वभावात्तु तथेयं जागती स्थितिः ॥ ५४ ॥

54. Just as light naturally (svabhāva) emanates merely from the existence of a lamp, similarly, this worldly state (jāgatī sthiti) exists by the intrinsic nature (svabhāva) of the principle of consciousness (cit-tattva).
