गृध्रहंसगणाकीर्णां कङ्कसारससेविताम् ।
मेधःफेनसमाकीर्णामार्तस्तनितनिस्वनाम् ॥२७॥

27. This battlefield-river is swarming with flocks of vultures and swans and frequented by herons and cranes. It is covered with foam of fat, and its sound is the wails of the suffering.
