वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-46, verse-21

आवर्त इव संजज्ञे उभयोः सेनयोस्तदा ।
क्षुभितस्याप्रमेयस्य सागरस्येव निस्वनः ॥२१॥
21. āvarta iva saṃjajñe ubhayoḥ senayostadā ,
kṣubhitasyāprameyasya sāgarasyeva nisvanaḥ.
21. āvartah iva sañjajñe ubhayoḥ senayoḥ tadā
kṣubhitasya aprameyasya sāgarasya iva nisvanaḥ
21. tada ubhayoḥ senayoḥ kṣubhitasya aprameyasya
sāgarasya iva āvartah iva nisvanaḥ sañjajñe
21. Then, a sound arose from both armies like a whirlpool, resembling the roar of a turbulent, immeasurable ocean.
