वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-24, verse-42

किं नु मे न गुणाः के चित् किं वा भाग्य क्षयो हि मे ।
याहं सीता वरार्हेण हीना रामेण भामिनी ॥४२॥
42. kiṃ nu me na guṇāḥ ke cit kiṃ vā bhāgya kṣayo hi me ,
yāhaṃ sītā varārheṇa hīnā rāmeṇa bhāminī.
42. kim nu me na guṇāḥ ke cit kim vā bhāgyakṣayaḥ hi
me | yā aham sītā varārheṇa hīnā rāmeṇa bhāminī

42. What then, do I truly possess no virtues, or is it rather a decline of my fortune? For I, Sita, O noble lady, am bereft of Rama, who is worthy of the most excellent.
