वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-24, verse-34

नैते धर्मं विजानन्ति राक्षसाः पिशिताशनाः ।
ध्रुवं मां प्रातराशार्थे राक्षसः कल्पयिष्यति ॥३४॥
34. naite dharmaṃ vijānanti rākṣasāḥ piśitāśanāḥ ,
dhruvaṃ māṃ prātarāśārthe rākṣasaḥ kalpayiṣyati.
34. na ete dharmam vijānanti rākṣasāḥ piśitāśanāḥ
dhruvam mām prātarāśārthe rākṣasaḥ kalpayiṣyati
34. ete piśitāśanāḥ rākṣasāḥ dharmam na vijānanti
dhruvam rākṣasaḥ mām prātarāśārthe kalpayiṣyati
34. These flesh-eating demons (rākṣasāḥ) do not understand natural law (dharma). Surely, a demon will prepare me for their morning meal.
