यथाहमेवं रुदती तथा भूयो न संशयः ।
अन्विष्य रक्षसां लङ्कां कुर्याद् रामः सलक्ष्मणः ॥२३॥

23. tato nihatanathānāṃ rākṣasīnāṃ gṛhe gṛhe ,
yathāhamevaṃ rudatī tathā bhūyo na saṃśayaḥ ,
anviṣya rakṣasāṃ laṅkāṃ kuryād rāmaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ.

23.
Then, in every house of the female demons whose lords have been slain, they will weep just as I am weeping now – of this, there is no doubt. Rama, accompanied by Lakshmana, having searched Lanka, the abode of the demons, should ensure this (outcome).
