वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-1, verse-19

मयूरस्य वने नूनं रक्षसा न हृता प्रिया ।
मम त्वयं विना वासः पुष्पमासे सुदुःसहः ॥१९॥
19. mayūrasya vane nūnaṃ rakṣasā na hṛtā priyā ,
mama tvayaṃ vinā vāsaḥ puṣpamāse suduḥsahaḥ.

19. Surely, the peacock's beloved has not been abducted by a demon in the forest. But for me, this separation in the month of flowers is indeed very difficult to bear.
