In that regard, the ruler of the eighth house is not an auspicious giver, even if it also holds lordship over the houses of fortune (9th) and expenditure (12th). However, if it holds lordship over the third, seventh, and eleventh houses, or over a trine (trikoṇa) house, then it yields good results.
