बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-34, verse-2

केन्द्राधिपतयः सौम्या ना दिशन्ति शुभं फलम् ।
क्रूरा नैवाऽशुभं कुर्युः शुभदाश्च त्रिकोणपाः ॥२॥
2. kendrādhipatayaḥ saumyā nā diśanti śubhaṃ phalam .
krūrā naivā'śubhaṃ kuryuḥ śubhadāśca trikoṇapāḥ.

krūrāḥ na eva aśubham kuryuḥ śubhadāḥ ca trikoṇapāḥ
2. Benefic planets that rule angular (kendra) houses do not yield auspicious results. Similarly, malefic planets (ruling angular houses) do not cause inauspiciousness. However, the rulers of trine (trikoṇa) houses are always givers of auspiciousness.
