धनुश्चैकेन बाणेन चिच्छेदेन्द्रध्वजोपमम् ।
केतुमेकेन चिच्छेद पाण्डवं चार्दयत्त्रिभिः ॥४०॥

40. dhanuścaikena bāṇena cicchedendradhvajopamam ,
ketumekena ciccheda pāṇḍavaṁ cārdayattribhiḥ.

40. And with one arrow, Drona cut Yudhiṣṭhira's bow, which was like Indra's banner. With one (another) arrow he cut down the standard, and with three (arrows) he tormented the Pandava (Yudhiṣṭhira).
