महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-81, verse-33

तदस्त्रं भस्मसात्कृत्वा तां शक्तिं घोरदर्शनाम् ।
जगाम स्यन्दनं तूर्णं पाण्डवस्य यशस्विनः ॥३३॥
33. tadastraṁ bhasmasātkṛtvā tāṁ śaktiṁ ghoradarśanām ,
jagāma syandanaṁ tūrṇaṁ pāṇḍavasya yaśasvinaḥ.
33. tat astram bhasmasāt kṛtvā tām śaktim ghoradarśanām
jagāma syandanam tūrṇam pāṇḍavasya yaśasvinaḥ
33. Having reduced that dreadful-looking spear (śakti) to ashes with his weapon (brahmāstra), Droṇa swiftly proceeded towards the renowned Pāṇḍava's (Yudhiṣṭhira's) chariot.
