महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-81, verse-26

स कृच्छ्रं परमं प्राप्तो धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिरः ।
त्यक्त्वा तत्कार्मुकं छिन्नं भारद्वाजेन संयुगे ।
आददेऽन्यद्धनुर्दिव्यं भारघ्नं वेगवत्तरम् ॥२६॥
26. sa kṛcchraṁ paramaṁ prāpto dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ,
tyaktvā tatkārmukaṁ chinnaṁ bhāradvājena saṁyuge ,
ādade'nyaddhanurdivyaṁ bhāraghnaṁ vegavattaram.
26. saḥ kṛcchram paramam prāptaḥ dharmarājaḥ
yudhiṣṭhiraḥ tyaktvā tat kārmukam
chinnam bhāradvājena saṃyuge ādade anyat
dhanuḥ divyam bhāraghnam vegavattaram

26. Yudhishthira, the king of righteousness (dharma), having reached a state of extreme distress, abandoned that bow of his which had been broken by Drona (Bhāradvāja) in battle. He then took up another divine bow, one capable of destroying enemies and exceedingly swift.
