महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-10, verse-6

तथा कंसो महातेजा जरासंधेन पालितः ।
विक्रमेणैव कृष्णेन सगणः शातितो रणे ॥६॥
6. tathā kaṁso mahātejā jarāsaṁdhena pālitaḥ ,
vikrameṇaiva kṛṣṇena sagaṇaḥ śātito raṇe.

6. Similarly, Kaṃsa, who was greatly powerful and protected by Jarāsaṃdha, was killed in battle by Krishna alone with his might, along with his followers.
