यदि स्म कुरवः सर्वे जयेयुः सर्वपाण्डवान् ।
वार्ष्णेयोऽर्थाय तेषां वै गृह्णीयाच्छस्त्रमुत्तमम् ॥३४॥

34. Even if all the Kurus were to conquer all the Pāṇḍavas, the Vārṣṇeya (Krishna) would certainly take up his excellent weapon for their sake.
