महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-10, verse-42

मनसापि हि दुर्धर्षौ सेनामेतां यशस्विनौ ।
नाशयेतामिहेच्छन्तौ मानुषत्वात्तु नेच्छतः ॥४२॥
42. manasāpi hi durdharṣau senāmetāṁ yaśasvinau ,
nāśayetāmihecchantau mānuṣatvāttu necchataḥ.
42. manasā api hi durdharṣau senām etām yaśasvinau
nāśayetām iha icchāntau mānuṣatvāt tu na icchataḥ
42. hi durdharṣau yaśasvinau manasā api etām senām
iha icchāntau nāśayetām tu mānuṣatvāt na icchataḥ
42. Indeed, these two glorious (yaśasvin) and irresistible (durgharṣa) beings could destroy this army even by thought alone, if they desired to do so; but because of their humanity (mānuṣatva), they do not wish to.
