अपरे क्षत्रियाः शूराः कृतवैराः परस्परम् ।
नैव शस्त्रं विमुञ्चन्ति नैव क्रन्दन्ति मारिष ।
तर्जयन्ति च संहृष्टास्तत्र तत्र परस्परम् ॥४०॥

40. O revered one, other brave warriors (kṣatriya), having established enmity among themselves, neither cast aside their weapons nor cried out. Instead, greatly delighted, they threatened each other here and there.
