महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-44, verse-29

केचिदाक्षिप्य करिणः साश्वानपि रथान्करैः ।
विकर्षन्तो दिशः सर्वाः समीयुः सर्वशब्दगाः ॥२९॥
29. kecidākṣipya kariṇaḥ sāśvānapi rathānkaraiḥ ,
vikarṣanto diśaḥ sarvāḥ samīyuḥ sarvaśabdagāḥ.

29. Some elephants, seizing chariots (even those with their horses) with their trunks, dragged them in all directions, moving throughout the battlefield with great noise.
