महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-240, verse-37

परिष्वज्याब्रवीच्चैनं भुजाभ्यां स महाभुजः ।
उत्तिष्ठ राजन्किं शेषे कस्माच्छोचसि शत्रुहन् ।
शत्रून्प्रताप्य वीर्येण स कथं मर्तुमिच्छसि ॥३७॥
37. pariṣvajyābravīccainaṁ bhujābhyāṁ sa mahābhujaḥ ,
uttiṣṭha rājankiṁ śeṣe kasmācchocasi śatruhan ,
śatrūnpratāpya vīryeṇa sa kathaṁ martumicchasi.
37. pariṣvajya abravīt ca enam bhujābhyām
saḥ mahābhujaḥ uttiṣṭha rājan kim śeṣe
kasmāt śocasi śatruhan śatrūn pratāpya
vīryeṇa saḥ kathaṃ martum icchasi
37. That great-armed one (Karna), embracing him with both arms, said to him: 'Arise, O King! Why are you lying down? O destroyer of enemies, why do you grieve? After having tormented your enemies with your valor, how can you wish to die?'
